The only cars to break 7 minutes on the rather dangerous loop in Nürburgring are the Lamborghini Aventador SV, Radical SR8 LM, Huracán Performante, GT2 RS and Porsche 918. It takes an extremely well-crafted vehicle to be able to handle this track that fast. Now we have someone looking to join that 7-minute squad, this time in a modified Nissan GT-R.

LM1 RS GT-R comes from Litchfield. Despite the low key name, this GT-R has some of the most extreme modifications made on it while still staying street legal. The list of modifications is extensive, so here are some of the highlights.
  • BorgWarner turbos, new cams, and new heads on the engine.
  • plush Inconel manifolds and improved intercooler
  • Momentum Motorsport fettled chassis
  • four-way adjustable custom valving and springs
  • carbon copies of every body panel
  • a GT3 roll cage
This creation came to light when commissioned by someone who wanted to race around the Nürburgring and then drive it down to the bar for a pint. So they needed it strong, fast, smooth, and street legal. Even though the LM1 RS GT-R has 1,100bhp and 800lb ft of torque, it is still allowed on the civilian roads.
