Vehicles don't have to be single faceted machines. Vehicles of all shapes and sizes can be built to perform in any way they want. Take the pickup for example. The only thing we ever see about the body type is how powerful it can be. They completely neglect the potential for speed, due to its size.

But no longer! Roush wants to break the mold. They want to make the QUICKEST pickup truck in the world. And they have. Introducing the 2019 Roush Nitemare F-150.

According to the tuner, this new model, available in standard 4x4 and SuperCrew. The Nitemare is the fastest-accelerating production truck in the world, clocking in a 0 to 60 mph time of only 3.9 seconds on the smaller example.

Testing was performed at the Milan Dragway in Michigan. The track was prepared for testing to allow for maximum performance while the truck itself was given a lighter fuel load and locked rear differentials, two user-activated settings. Recording data came from a VBOX Driftbox, one of the most accurate devices on the market.

Of course, the truck is also powerful. The Ford-sourced 5.0-liter V-8 engine was fitted with a supercharger, allowing an output of 650 horsepower. The vehicle itself is also fitted with a custom grille, lowering kit, and 22-inch wheels.

If you're interested in having a Nitemare for yourself, you can order the modification package for $19,150 to start. Just make sure you have a 2019 Ford F-150 as a donor.
