Rolls-Royce is an extremely popular car brand. Many people are familiar with their line of cars, but for some reason they have started to do an odd marketing campaign. Normally, car commercials and ads involve the vehicle on an open road. A Southern-sounding gentleman talks about the car's reliability and overall sturdiness. Not Rolls-Royce.

Over the past month, their ads have changed drastically. It has now gotten to a point where they are adding a strange, almost sexual, component to their vehicles. One ad in particular shows a man and a woman at the early stages of foreplay. It then cuts to the woman's face and black goo begins to pour from her eyes as it travels down her face.

I'm not really sure what this means. If I drive a Rolls-Royce, will I start bleeding from my eyes? If that's the case, I don't think I want to buy one. I mean, I can't afford one anyway, but the my-eyes-are-pouring-black-goo factor certainly doesn't make me want the car more. If this new tactic has increased sales, I would be very surprised. At the same time, I don't really think that people are buying these cars because of a tweet they saw of a 10-second video, so what do I know?
