Unlike IndyCar drivers, us normal folk need to pay attention to when our cars need fuel. IndyCar racers only need to come in when their crew tells them too and they never need to pay any attention to the amount of gas they have left. That all changes when they hit the regular roads though. For Conor Daly, he didn't quite understand.

In his casual drive around town in his street car, Daly had to pull over as he ran out of gas. Perhaps he was unaware of the nifty tool right in front of him that tells him exactly how much gas he has left. Maybe he saw that his car was running low, but trusted that his pit crew would call him whenever he needed to fill up. His anxiety increased as the gas continued to fall and he still hadn't received a call.

Regardless of the reason, this is absolutely hilarious. I mean, mistakes happen for sure. Maybe he though that he could make it to the next gas station, but was caught a bit short. Who knows? Maybe Daly's pit crew should keep a closer eye on him next time he goes out on a Friday night drive.
