On April 21st in Dallas, Texas, a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting. At the time the shot was fired, the man was busy watching street races in the Stemmons Corridor. Officers had responded to the call at around 11:20 p.m. and identified the man as Miguel Sotelo-Trujillo.

When the officers arrived Miguel was still breathing, but was struggling to keep fighting. He was taken to the nearest hospital and died after a short amount of time. Miguel and a witness were watching the races from their own vehicle. It was reported that another vehicle had driven past them, fired a shot into Miguel’s car, and struck Miguel.

Investigators are still searching for the man who fired the gun. They are doing everything they can to discover leads that may help identify the shooter.
