I recently wrote up an article about the brand new Lucid Air electric car that will be challenging Tesla. Well, after a bit more research I was able to stumble across a video of the car hitting 217 miles per hour in its first stability test. I covered this in the previous article, but I wanted to make sure this video could be seen by all.

While Tesla had record sales this first quarter, they have also issued a voluntary recall. I don't think it will hurt their overall sales, but it definitely doesn't look good. This might be the perfect time for the Air to take some steam out of the powerful Tesla company. I'm not saying that one company will destroy the other and I don't think that either company is better. I think that having two major electric car companies like this will actually help consumers out a ton.

I love competition. I think it naturally makes everything better. If you have nobody to compete with, why would you improve? If the Lucid and Tesla battle heats up, we might be seeing some seriously awesome vehicles in the next few years. Until that day comes, feel free to check out the video down below so you can see the Air hit 217 miles per hour.
