Even in the midst of the holiday season, we haven't forgotten our love for the automotive. And neither has Hennessey, who tied a Christmas tree to the top of a modified Jeep and sped down the road at 181 miles per hour.

The video, running about five minutes long, showcases an HPE1000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, a highly tuned version of the original model, capable of up to 1,000 horsepower. Firmly attached to the top of the vehicle is a six-foot-tall Douglas Fir tree.

Things go as you might expect. The SUV speeds down the road at an impressive pace while the tree, while shaken, remains firmly planted on the roof. While not the most dramatic video, we can appreciate Hennessey's festive attitude.

If that much kick doesn't impress you, then maybe you'll like the HPE1200 upgrade. This tuning pushes the same vehicle up to 1,200 hp.
