Ian Callum, Jaguar's most influential designer, has not only announced his resignation from the brand but will be starting his own design firm.

Callum was the lead designer at Jaguar for over 20 years. His work would influence projects such as the Jaguar F-Pace, XE, and F-Type. He announced his resignation last June.

But Callum isn't using this time to retire and rest. Instead, he founded his own design firm. The idea was confirmed in an interview with Car and Driver, where Callum announced the firm's existence and its focus on luxury automobiles.

Currently, the team has 18 members, including former Jaguar employee David Fairbairn, the man responsible for the Lightweight E-Type.

Further details about the company, such as name or specific services, remains unknown at this time.
