The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is all over the place right now. It’s very hard to open up anything car related and not have this new vehicle being thrown in your face, and for very good reason. This car is absolutely insane. I did a small article on it a few days ago and since then a viral video has been going around social media that really shows off this car’s guts.

With an 840 horsepower V8, a 2.3 second 0-60 that makes it the quickest car in the world, and a quarter-mile time of 9.65 seconds at 140 miles per hour, this thing does not disappoint for one single second. The acceleration on the Demon is so intense that the front-end lifts off of the ground and the car breaks into a wheelie. At full throttle, this car can suck out all of the air in a single-car garage in under two minutes. This car has so much power that without installing a roll cage, the Demon cannot even be entered in an NHRA-sanctioned event.

While Dodge will only be producing about 3,000 Demons, the car’s MSRP will be well under 6 figures. Keep in mind, this has absolutely nothing to do with the actual retail price. Since all dealers are independent, Dodge has no control over how much they’re going to charge and the pricing will be completely based off of consumer demand, which I imagine will be quite high. Nevertheless, the car has been confirmed to have a 5 figure MSRP and is completely street legal.
