Aston Martin has revealed the DB11 Volante. This new convertible coup is more than just a pretty face, however, with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 under the hood, this car hack more bite than bark.

Brandishing 503 hp and 513 lb-ft of torque, it may not match up to the specs of the V-12 coup, but it's by no means something to disregard. With electric power steering, limited-slip differential with dynamic torque vectoring, and an eight-speed automatic transmission, The Aston Martin DB11 Volante is a strong and smooth ride. That's good since you'll need it when hitting zero to sixty in 4.1 seconds, and able to reach top speeds of 187 mph.

The convertible fabric hood can be operated by keyfob, or while driving, as long as you keep it under 31mph. The DB11 Volante also has a solid aluminum hood, allowing for a more lightweight hood and additional cargo room. Though my favorite feature is the deployable spoiler for downforce control.

You can order a DB11 Volante from Aston Martin for around $216,000, and deliveries will begin during the first quarter of next year.
