Setting Goals

Lamborghini did more than launch a new variant of it's jaw-dropping Aventador S Coupe in India today. The Italian supercar maker has set eyes on more than double the volume share of the car over the next two years. They are looking at an increase, to about 25%.

As of this point, the domestic market for Lambo's has been Huracan, with 90%. Now, the automaker is looking to reduce that dependence and increase the Aventador share.

Note, the Huracan is about 50% cheaper than the Aventador.

Current Prestige

Already, Lamborghini can boast about quite a bit. Not only do they make some of the most amazing, high quality, in demand supercars in the market, they're also leaders in the supercar market, holding over 40% of the pie.

That's almost half of the supercar market.

The new Aventador S LP 740-4 Coupe features 740hp, a V12 6.5 liter engine and a hefty price tag of Rs. 5.01 crore, which if we got the conversion right, equals roughly $800,000. Their previous model is priced at around $788,914. This of course, isn't including any customization.
