One of the quintessential aspects of a young boy's bedroom was to have a race car bed. It fueled a young mind's imagination toward the world the automobiles. While most people grow out of it in favor of your standard bed frame, Ken Block's Hoonigan crew brought the nostalgic body to mechanical life.

The team manages a YouTube series called Garage Garage. In the latest episode, they convert your average race car bed into a kart-motor powered mini vehicle.

Hoonigan started by creating a chassis and mounting a two-stroke kart engine to it. They built an awkward frame to hold it all together, along with a steering wheel, four wheels, and a handbrake. They also butchered a video gaming chair to use as a driver's seat.

This is a fantastic example of creative minds working with ridiculous limitations to create something entertaining. This is an ongoing project, so there's still more progress to see in the future. We'll be watching, for sure.
