Everyone remembers their first car accident. It's an extremely upsetting time knowing you damaged an expensive and important mode of transportation, even if it wasn't your fault. Odds are, whatever experience you had, it doesn't hold a candle to this.

A Porsche 911 GT3 was recently set entirely ablaze while traversing the Nürburgring.

Caught in an agonizing 20-minute video, we can see as a fire envelops the vehicle. Firefighters arrive on the scene to blast the remains with water. Slowly but surely, the team diminishes the flames enough to open the hood with the jaws of life and spray the rest down with flame-retardant foam. Don't worry, the driver got out safely.

Would you believe this isn't the first time? Back in 2014, Porsche issued a stop-sale on all 911 GT3s after discovering a fire risk. The problem was later identified as faulty connecting rod fasteners. The automaker resorted to replacing the engines of 785 911 GT3 models to resolve the issue. Whether this fire was due to a similar issue is unknown at this time.

Either way, talk about a rough day.
