Has science gone too far?? This Fiat 500 has taken the vehicles high level of customizability and pushed it just a step further.

A product of Gran Torino Engineering, this Abarth 500 has a carbon fiber widebody kit, rear wheel drive, and an Alfa 4C’s engine in the back seat. They call it the Giannini 350 GP Anniversario. It was created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the famous historic Italian tuner Giannini.

They took an Abarth, stripped it almost entirely, and replaced it with enough bell and whistle to almost be a new vehicle. The 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine was replaced with a 1.7-litre turbo-four-cylinder engine from an Alfa 4C. They moved it all into the back seat as well. This new setup allows it to push out 350 horsepower, compared to the old 237, all fed to the rear wheels by a manual gearbox.

But to go fast, you need to be able to stop fast, this is why the ride also features Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers at the back. All of this held together smoothly by in-board Ohlins shocks between the body and the 19-inch forged alloy wheels.

Don't worry, the beautiful widebody won't weigh things down. It's made of carbon fiber and has new intakes, a modified hood and grill, and a rally-style wing.

Only 100 units will be produced, priced at $183,000 each. A hefty price, for what is certainly a one of a kind vehicle.
