Performance parts are nothing new to the modified car world. Hyundai believes they have found a way to transform performance worldwide with their N Performance division.

While the claims are grandeur, the basic formula isn't that different. The automaker will continue to produce standard performance parts, while a new line of N Line vehicles will complement N models. These models are designed and built with N Option parts, which are customizable and available for all Hyundai vehicles.

Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President and head of the High Performance Vehicle & Motorsport Division, explained how this new division will set it apart from the competition. According to Schemera, offering options for everyday drivers, as well as motorsports, will make them the go-to option for upgrades. They've already improved the i30 N and Veloster N into a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that generates up to 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
