Complementary drag racing classes sound like something I'd hear in a good dream, but it couldn't be more real for 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon owners. Dodge and SRT have announced the Dodge-SRT Bondurant Drag Racing School.

The location at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona, will be home to a one-day training for Demon owners to learn the rules and techniques of drag racing as well as apply what they learned on a drag strip. Drivers will learn proper launches, staging, signals, reactions, and proper safety checks before and after. Did I mention that it's all free?

Dodge and SRT already have established single-day schools, namely the Bondurant High-Performance Driving School. This option is available to all Dodge-SRT owners. Those with Demons will have the option to choose either the High-Performance Driving School or the Drag Racing School for free while attending the other will cost an additional $999.

You don't need a Dodge to burn rubber at the Drag Racing School. Dodge will offer the experience to anyone for $1,999 using a number of Challengers, such as the SRT Demon, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Widebody, and SRT 392.

Pre-registration for the school has already begun, and classes start on March 9.
