Automakers tend to make a lot of money, especially if you're as diverse as Ford. One of the best things they can do with all that wealth is charity. The brand has built and donated a special 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 for exactly that.

The GT500, featuring a one-of-a-kind paint called "Venom," will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help find a cure to Type 1 diabetes. Or more specifically: the vehicle will be raffled off, with the proceeds going to the JDRF.

A maximum of 75,000 raffle tickets will be sold at $10 each.

Spec-wise, the Venom GT500 is identical to the standard factory model. The paint job is the only exclusive feature. Either way, entry into the raffle is only $10, a great bargain should the 760 horsepower performance car become yours.

Ford is no stranger to this idea, either. The brand has a history of donating unique or rare vehicles in the name of charity. Just last year, they gave away a Mustang Bullitt.

Interested in participating? You can find more details about the raffle at the official raffle page. Who knows, you just might win.
